Our rates include as much assistance as you need in planning your event music from one of the largest repertoires in the business. Even if you know very little about wedding music, you can book with us in full confidence that you are tapping into our extensive experience with weddings and celebrations of all types. We can also work with your vocalist, pianist, or organist for a modest additional fee. We can also book a trumpet for your event.
Note: Minimum booking is 1.5 hours (ninety minutes). Bookings are made in 1/2 hour (30-minute) increments. A 50% initial payment is required at the time of booking. The balance is due 2 weeks prior to your event. To check on availability, please fill out our Inquiry form. Rates for trumpet are quoted on request. Events more than 50 miles outside of Frederick, MD may incur a modest fee for travel.
Wedding ceremonies almost always require 90 minutes to two hours of performance time. We do not book wedding ceremonies for less than 90 minutes. This is to ensure that you have sufficient time to account for any unexpected delays.
If your ceremony includes a long service, such as a complete Mass, a minimum of two hours is usually necessary.
To help you plan the exact length of music service required, here are some suggestions:
The Prelude is usually 30 minutes in length. This allows time for your guests to be seated, and to create an appropriate atmosphere.
The Processional and Ceremony (together) can range from 15 minutes to an hour, depending on the type of service.
You will usually need about 15-20 minutes of Recessional music as the bridal party and guests exit.
Be sure to allow about 15 extra minutes to account for any unexpected delays.
If you want to include your cocktail hour, add an extra hour or so. If you include the dinner hour, add another 1-2 hours.
